Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship
We invites graduates with evidence of academic excellence, research ability, and good communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities for full-time PhD study within a newly launched Fellowship scheme. The scheme aims to recruit outstanding graduates, irrespective of country of origin and ethnic background, and will provide a 3-year tuition scholarship, a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 (approximately US$2,600) and Conference and Research related travel allowance of HK$10,000 (approximately US$1,300) per year for awardees. Research Assistant / Associate
Several Research Assistant/Associate positions are now available in our research group at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The successful applicants will work on the following topics respectively: (1) High-performance seismic-resistant structures; (2) Smart dampers for vibration control of civil structures; (3) Energy harvesting and renewable energy; and (4) Construction-induced vibration monitoring and mitigation. The applicants are expected to have a Master degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, engineering mechanics, mechanical engineering or other related areas.
